The IT infrastructure is essentially the digital highway of your building, allowing analog and digital data to move freely from point A to point B. To construct this highway, we distinguish three component groups: passive components (such as network cables, connectors, and patch panels), non-intelligent active components (such as digital displays, hubs, transceivers, and repeaters), and intelligent active components (such as switches, bridges, routers, and gateways). Kannegieter offers a balanced assortment of ICT and active components, allowing for any desired configuration.
In addition to fixed cabling, we offer an extensive range of wireless (WiFi) solutions, resulting in a logical and balanced IT network. From WiFi routers to WiFi access points and from design to installation guidance, we are familiar with the latest WiFi standards and developments such as Asset Tracking and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD). This ensures a reliable and stable WiFi connectivity without dead zones or unwanted buffering.
Kannegieter also offers an extensive range of switches, which can be used to connect users and access points to the network. From standard ICT switches to industrial switches and medical switches, the switches can be optionally equipped with Power over Ethernet (PoE) functionality to power access points.
For the rapid transport of optical signals, Kannegieter offers an extensive range of Passive Optical Network (PON), Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON), and ten (X) Gigabit Symmetrical Passive Optical Network (XGSPON) solutions, enabling bidirectional transport over fiber. We can design the entire network end-to-end, including Optical Line Terminal (OLT) and Optical Network Terminal (ONT) devices. Enjoy even faster speeds, better WiFi, smoother streaming, and more efficient video calls. In short, optimal connectivity while reducing the floor space, amount of cabling, and cooling load. We contribute to a green and sustainable solution with maximum uptime and technical lifespan.
